Clubes ingleses prestam condolências à Família Real após morte de Rainha Elizabeth
Monarca do Reino Unido teve seu falecimento anunciado nesta quinta-feira (8), aos 96 anos; equipes da Premier League fizeram suas homenagens

A morte da Rainha Elizabeth II, anunciada nesta quinta-feira, comoveu o mundo e lançou uma série de homenagens à monarca do Reino Unido por todos os lados. O esporte não ficou indiferente e, principalmente, o futebol, cuja versão moderna nasceu em solo britânico.
Diversos clubes da Premier League e das ligas das outras nações que compõem o Reino Unido manifestaram homenagens à Elizabeth, que faleceu aos 96 anos. Os clubes do país que jogam nesta quinta a Liga Europa e a Conference League, tiveram um minuto de silêncio em respeito ao falecimento da monarca mais longeva da nação.
